It was a great party ... of course I will next week send pictures and video presentation.

Tomorrow, Friday and Saturday ... then the last shopping day for me and Joke.

How do I feel? Fantastic, what a warm interest, what 's attentions received from customers.

Satisfied customers. .. That's what it is all about! Customers who are enthusiastic and walk (again) some nice cheeses come find out: Before you do it right?

Next week I expect to inform you about these last two days: I hope I got enough cheese for everyone!

Fons van den Hout 70 years

Festive final meeting with 'n cheese and show a slide on Saturday, July 17th axis between 13 and 17 hours. Which they invite you.

Suddenly it our last week ...

After years of preparation,,, selling your business now costs a lot of time ... we will celebrate next Saturday (July 17) our latest sales event at our store.

How do I feel? Pretty good ... "There's a tit of come over her 's go for tit"

Saturday ...

we celebrate our last day with delicious cheeses at 'n tasty cheese platter with a nice glass of wine for our customers. Of course we have a surprise for everyone!

Of course we want to thank them ... some for decades ... regular customer of mother-to-daughter.

With great pleasure that we have raised thousands of cheeses in the last 38 years.

There is nothing more beautiful than flavorful French or Italian cheese from rijpingscel you get!

What made salads Joke? I would not know it but they are tens of thousands of pounds

And then?
Nice bikes together in Brabant, time for the grandchildren and regularly chasing the cheeses (in France, Italy and Switzerland) Time for Reflection: Do you feel better suggestions? Not me!

Oakleaf Salad

Ingredients: (6 people)
200 g Stolwijker matured in spicy paste
6 thin slices of Parma ham
1 head lettuce
1 small fennel bulb and green
2 young carrots
2 pears
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons red postage
1 1 / 2 tablespoon salad oil fine
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
pepper
salt

preparation:
Make the clean lettuce leaves and tear the most. Delete the carrots and the fennel and cut into thin strips (julienne). Let the vegetables in a separate saucepan blanch one minute. Drain and rinse immediately with cold water. Sprinkle the fennel with lemon juice. Chop the fennel fronds. Peel the pears, remove core and cut each quarter into slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut the cheese into triangles. Arrange the lettuce on 6 plates. Then the ham, slice the pear, the triangles of cheese, strips of carrot and fennel. Make a sauce of lemon juice, salad oil, are sugar and port. Pour on the whole, just before serving.

.. And for the football tonight ... some tasty cheese cubes show a glass of wine!

Our great-great-grandchildren will undoubtedly talk about football that memorable evening!

Farmhouse cheese ... and you can taste it!

With some sadness yesterday I received my last farmhouse cheeses.

They are the best cheeses in the Netherlands:

  • The first farmers cheese grass this year, very soft, creamy and not salty and
  • The full 2009 summer cheeses from the Green Heart.

For each cheese, which I raise my fly through my mind: "This is the last"

Until next week, Saturday, July 17, you can still visit our shop, we wish some pieces vacuum packed for you so you can ahead of the summer.
